Last month, I turned 51 years old. I thought about the next 50 years of my life. What do I want to do? How do I want to change my life?
Several things have changed since December 2021. I took a freelance job. I work for a publishing company that owns three newspapers and an advertising company. I am writing a lot more!
Sometimes I record the interviews for the paper. I get to hear my voice – the quality and how I communicate. I’m learning a lot about the tone of my voice and how I project words. I realize that I need to be more mindful about what I’m about to say.
Each year I focus on one chakra. For 2022, I’m working on my throat chakra. I want to become more aware of the vibration of spoken words.
My friend and mentor, Sister Lucy Bruskiewicz, says to be silent and listen with our hearts. I wish to bring more peace into my heart and mind. I want to be quiet and listen more.
Just before I turned 51, I cut my hair short. The last time I had my hair short was when I was 17 years old. I want to go beyond physical appearances – I’m ready for that change.
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about India. I was there seven years ago on a study abroad trip. I miss the Ganga river and the ashram the most. When I was there, I met Ma Tureeya, a Catholic nun. She said, “Make space for the Divine to enter.” Meditation is the way.
I meditate in the morning, but I want to add an evening practice. I plan to continue to work with the chakras (see the chart below). It is interesting to note the connection of “SHAM” with shaman.
This chakra chart is from the book, “Shifting Frequencies,” by Jonathan Goldman.
I am ready for the next 50 years of my life! I am leaving the mother phase and entering the crone phase. I am excited to dive deeper into wisdom!
Whoever departs from this world without having realized his own inner world, to him life has been of no service: it remains unlived, like an undone deed. - Brhad-aranyaka Upanishad
When you reach your arms and hands straight above your head, you will touch your Soul Star Chakra. This chakra connects you to the heavens. The Earth Star Chakra connects you to Mother Earth.
When we connect with our Soul Star Chakra, we see our potential to ascend into higher consciousness. When we walk on the Earth (Middleworld), we are presented with a psychological “Hall of Mirrors.” It is maze-like and confusing at times. However, we can learn to master the mind and have order instead of chaos. It is a fact that Mother Earth prefers order. We can also be the Master of Mirrors.
To master the mind, we need to touch the eternal part of who we are. Do not get trapped in the Hall of Mirrors. See yourself clearly, and have compassion for yourself. Look into the mirror and see your greatness.
Caitlin Matthews, in her book, Singing the Soul Back Home, says, “Each part of our soul needs to be with us, to enable us to pay proper attention to the different dimensions of our lives: to be emotionally aware, to give love, to appreciate what is true and beautiful, to respect boundaries of others and ourselves, to discern danger. If one or more soul-part is missing, we begin to find some of these things difficult or impossible.”
To heal ourselves, we need to go inward. The outside world is only a distraction – to pull us away from our true work. We can heal ourselves by looking straight into the eyes of fear. Matthews continues in her book, Singing the Soul Back Home, “Dealing with fear requires courage. Many people feel it is easier to live with the self-imposed controls of fear than to experience the liberation of the power that lies beneath the fear.”
To work with fear, you must realize your power. It is time to polish your mirror. Who are you?
You can ascend into higher consciousness with grace and gratitude. Meditate every day, practice mindfulness, and learn to balance all of your chakras.
I have a ghost story – perfect for Halloween. This past summer in August, I went on a solo trip to Colorado to attend a festival. While I was there, I bought a small chocolate bar with 10 mg of THC (cannabis/marijuana). My intention with the plant medicine was to relax and maybe receive spiritual transformation or insight.
For the last two nights of my trip, I decided to stay in a hotel (instead of camping). I looked on Expedia and chose the closest one to the festival. According to information online, I found out the hotel was haunted (especially Room #2).
The hotel dates back to 1905. The owner and his wife ran the hotel but never lived there. However, their son died in Room #2. Online it said that the wife probably haunts that room because she’s looking out for her son.
When I got to the hotel, the man at the desk handed me the key – to Room #2. I had a feeling that I would get that room! So, I make my way up the wooden staircase to the room. I silently said hello to the spirits that might be there.
The room was beautifully decorated with some of the original furniture from 1905 (see the photo above). I didn’t feel any spirits or ghosts. However, I couldn’t get the fact that the room was haunted out of my mind.
On the last night of my stay in Colorado, I realized that I still had that “special” chocolate bar. I thought I better try it before I leave. So, I ate half (5 mg) of the bar, and then I got ready for bed. I didn’t feel anything until about 9:00 PM. The room started to spin. Then I became anxious. I knew that if I didn’t get control of myself that I would panic!
Different feelings and thoughts started to come to my mind. I had this feeling that I wanted to get in my car and drive or knock on the neighbors door. I told myself, “You are not going anywhere!” Then I wanted to call my husband to tell him how I was feeling. I told myself, “No. Just meditate.” So, I laid down and meditated. I connected with Reiki too.
As I meditated with a mantra, I realized that I was in a haunted room. I thought I was crazy to eat that THC candy bar in a haunted hotel! And I was alone!
During my meditation, I lost track of time, and I started to hear voices in the distance and noise at the foot of the bed. I closed my eyes and didn’t dare to look!
Thankfully, after a few hours, I started to feel better. I didn’t get much sleep, and I had a plane to catch in the morning!
Now that I look back at the experience, I can see how much meditation helped me remain calm. I know I can use meditation during scary or stressful times.
I also learned that I need to have more respect and gratitude towards medicinal plants. Each plant has lessons and wisdom to share. It’s not a good idea to take any medicinal plant without guidance. I learned my lesson – do not try things just for the sake of trying them.
Many cultures around the world use psychotropic plants to achieve ecstatic and transformative states of mind. However, one must use strong intention and caution.
Here are several ways to protect (and calm your mind) from strange energy and phenomena:
Ask God or your higher power to protect you.
Connect with Reiki to guide you and protect you.
Call on your master teacher or spirit guides to protect you (ancestors, angels, saints, power animals, etc.).
Use meditation to focus your mind and call on protection. Understand the spiritual concepts of internal vs external.
Imagine a white or blue light of protection around your body (you can extend the light to your room or the place you are staying).
Ask the spirits of crystals to protect you. For example, Native Americans use crystal quartz and turquoise stones for protection.
Connect with the power of love to protect you. Feel your heart chakra radiate with love.
There will be a worldwide disclosure coming soon. I can feel it. What can we do to prepare? First of all, we must not be afraid. Go inward to find strength and courage. The ancient texts tell us that we have a powerful mind, so we need to find ways to train our minds to tap into that power.
We also have a treasure within us – The Chakras. Why is it called “Treasure Chest?” Inside the human chest is the heart.
Our Treasure – The Heart Chakra
You are a powerful being. Nothing can take that away. Use your time wisely – train your mind through meditation, work with your chakras, and help other people.
We are ready to face anything! We are born in this lifetime to see the “Great Awakening.” Let’s count our blessings!
Here are seven quotes about treasure:
Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will be also be. - Luke 12:34If your profits are in heaven, your heart will be there too. - Matthew 6:21The cave you enter holds the treasure you seek. - Joseph CampbellKnowledge is a treasure, but practice is the key to it. - Lao TzuIf you come here, you will find a hidden treasure. - Paulo CoelhoThe greatest treasures are those invisible to the eye but found by the heart. - Judy GarlandYour heart will challenge you, but also reward you beyond your wildest dreams. - Stefan Emunds
Namaste, world.
I attended Echo Bodine’s Aurapalooza in Minneapolis. It’s an all-day psychic and healing fair. I had a 50-minute Reiki session with one of the practitioners, and toward the end of the session, I received a vision. I wasn’t expecting a vision because I was putting all my energy into letting go and clearing my mind.
The vision formed quickly, and I understood the meaning instantly. In my mind, I saw a three-dimensional triangle (pyramid) formed from my heart chakra to my third-eye chakra and then out in front of me. The apex (tip) pointed outward in front of me. The next vision was the pyramid on the dollar bill.
The basic meaning that I received is that you need to connect your heart chakra and third-eye chakra to spiritually “to see the truth.” If there is one truth that I know, it’s the chakra system. My vision is fascinating to me because I’ve been working with my heart chakra and my third-eye chakra. I just never thought to combine them.
I know that I will receive more information as I digest the images and message. I think there is a deeper message – like going down the “rabbit hole.” I think it connects with sacred geometry too.
Pyramids are physical landmarks on the Earth, but how are they related to the human being?
The bottom of the pyramid is a “diamond” shape.
Bell Rock, Sedona, Arizona
I hope you work with your heart chakra and third-eye chakra to receive some messages. One way to work with your chakras is during meditation. You can visualize connecting the two chakras (see energy, colors, shapes, etc.). You might experience some feelings too.
As a human race, we are going through some interesting and challenging times. When we connect spiritually, we understand that we are more than human – we are divine. As divine beings, we need to continue to show love and kindness. Intelligence + Kindness = Wisdom
I just got back from attending the Traveling Shamans Camp in Colorado. Traveling Shamans Camp is an annual festival for traveling shamans, visionary artists, healers, and wisdom teachers. I want to share the collective thoughts on mind control and how we can free our minds.
Mind control starts in childhood. Our parents, family members, teachers, and society tell us what to think, feel, say, and do. It’s a lot like training animals with rewards and punishments. Early traumas or wounds keep us locked in fear. The more traumas that we have, the more we are prone to mind control. We can heal our traumas by reliving the trauma (in a safe way). We have to face things to initiate transformation.
Mind control is part of the colonized mind. Colonialism is a practice of domination or governing influence of a nation over a dependent country, territory, or people. We can see this practice of domination repeat through the centuries – showing the immaturity of the human race.
Right now, the world is using colonialism with lockdowns and mandates. In this century, the elites will enjoy even more control with technology as their ploy. It seems like a scary time – but remember to let love guide you.
We need to unplug from the television (tell-a-vision). Television is a “program.” Examine your own beliefs vs. society’s beliefs. Find acceptance among diversity and see the strength of common strands in the community.
How can we free our minds? We need to focus on the soul level, the roots. When we examine the unconscious and subconscious mind, we understand the shamanic way. We are divine, and we can make loving choices. Conscience = Common-Sense Knowledge
If you know yourself, then you are not blind to ignorance. You can see clearly. Right now, everyone must open their eyes. It is not a time to sleepwalk.
If we can’t think for ourselves, if we’re unwilling to question authority, then we’re just putty in the hands of those in power. But if the citizens are educated and form their own opinions, then those in power work for us. In every country, we should be teaching our children the scientific method and the reasons for a Bill of Rights. With it comes a certain decency, humility and community spirit. In the demon-haunted world that we inhabit by virtue of being human, this may be all that stands between us and the enveloping darkness. – Carl Sagon
We can think for ourselves and free our minds through meditation. The breath is our #1 medicine. When we have too many thoughts, we can focus on our breath to bring us back to the present moment. Singing and praying can also stop negative thoughts and mind control.
It’s important to be your raw, authentic self. We are in a unique time where the world is cracking open like an earthquake. The illusion is dissolving. Soon we will see our divine blueprint.
Your thoughts are powerful. Be aware of your inner thoughts. Ask yourself, “Are these limited thoughts or growth thoughts?” Think expansive thoughts that include a vision for yourself, your family, and the world.
What do you need when there’s uncertainty, chaos, relationship problems, or stress? Find within yourself deep peace. There are many ways to get peace. You can rest, listen to music, take a walk in nature, be mindful of your environment, pray, meditate, go on a retreat, or take a vacation.
I decided to go to Colorado to take a break from my daily life. Going somewhere far away gives me new perspectives. Several times I’ve told myself I just need peace. I need to rejuvenate so I can continue to give to others. Peace creates sacred space and increased awareness.
I work in hospice – caring for the dying. After someone dies, I tell the family, “May peace be with you.” When we have peace, we create the space to heal. Deep peace helps us feel connected to God.
It’s no secret that the world is changing before our eyes. Deep peace creates “right thinking.” Everyone has their own beliefs and thinking. For me, right thinking is spiritual wisdom. This wisdom has to transcend the problems of daily reality. It must go deeper into understanding the spiritual realm.
For the past two mornings, during my sun meditation, I received a vision of a key and a lock. There are a lot of secrets about humanity and the world. And if we want to open the door to these secrets, we need to create deep peace.
May peace be with you.
Namaste, world.
Make Me a Channel of Your Peace, by Susan Boyle
Make me a channel of Your peace Where there is hatred, let me bring Your love Where there is injury, Your pardon Lord And where there’s doubt, true faith in You
Make me a channel of Your peace Where there’s despair in life, let me bring hope Where there is darkness, only light And where there’s sadness, ever joy
Oh Master, grant that I may never seek So much to be consoled as to console To be understood as to understand To be loved as to love with all my soul
Make me a channel of Your peace It is pardoning that we are pardoned In giving to all men that we receive And in dying that we’re born to eternal life
Oh Master, grant that I may never seek So much to be consoled as to console To be understood as to understand To be loved as to love with all my soul
Make me a channel of Your peace Where there’s despair in life, let me bring hope Where there is darkness, only light And where there’s sadness, ever joy
In a few weeks, I am going on a solo trip to Sedona, Arizona. I am preparing myself mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically for the trip. I keep telling myself that I need to have a strong mind while I am there.
In 2016, my friends and I went to Sedona, Arizona, on a spiritual pilgrimage. I remember one night energy was bouncing off the walls. It really scared me – I’ve never experienced anything like that before. Part of me realizes that I might encounter more strange phenomena during this upcoming trip.
The energy in Sedona is strong because of the vortexes and ancestral energy that resides there. I will be alone on the red mountains (I’m never really alone). I am excited and nervous at the same time.
How am I preparing myself for this trip? I am reading more about Sedona, practicing Qigong every day, and I am working with my mental energy.
I am going to Sedona to connect with the unique energy that is there. I want to meditate and connect with the spirit of Sedona. I am going with an open mind and no set expectations.
I understand that as human beings, we are visible and invisible. The visible part is our physical body and the invisible part is our mind.
The mind is very powerful. We need to be careful because the mind likes to manifest. We need to put our energy towards positive thoughts and less energy into things that cause fear, pain, struggles, etc. It’s easy to just let the mind think what it wants, but it’s crucial to think thoughts mindfully. Remember – thoughts are things. Where thoughts go, energy flows.
I can see myself on Bell Rock. I can feel the warm wind on my skin. I can feel the energy in my body as I connect with Heaven and Earth.
Stay strong in your beliefs. The media thinks it can tell you what you can do and what you can’t do. Do not listen. The media rarely tells the truth. It is best not to watch, read, or listen to anything the media has to say. Protect your mind and do not fill your mind with garbage. Limit your time on the Internet. Think for yourself. Don’t let anyonetell you what to think.
I never thought, in my life, I would write about a pandemic and human rights and freedoms. It’s so easy to feel scared. However, we can not be afraid – that’s exactly what the media wants (and the people behind the media).
There are several things you can do to stay strong. First, remember you are an eternal human being. Call on God or your teacher (Jesus, Buddha, Lao Tzu, etc.) to guide and protect you. Second, create a strong mind and a strong heart through meditation. You can train your mind to be calm and peaceful like a mountain lake. Let nothing shake you. And, third, you can stay strong by surrounding yourself with positive, like-minded people.
Remember there are lightworkers all over the world helping humanity.

Here is a centering visualization by Henry Fersko-Weiss:
For this visualization, sit with your eyes closed, so you can move more easily into your imagination. Start with a minute or two of breath meditation, then call up the image of a still pool of water – perhaps in a forest or near a mountain. Then visualize sitting at the edge of the water watching the surface. A frog jumps in the water, creating ripples that move outward in all directions from the plop of where it entered the water. Continue to watch the surface of the water, as the ripples slowly dissipate until the pool is completely still again. You, also, gradually become that stillness. Then, when you are ready, open your eyes and carry that stillness and the receptivity of the pool in your mind.
We are born in this lifetime for a reason. We must help our fellow human beings – it is our most important task, especially now with the worldwide pandemic. Please step-up to your leadership role. There are several things we must do:
Show people how to develop consciousness (awareness) and how to retain it.
Encourage people to meditate every day.
Control and manipulation in energy form will come from the technology that we use every day (smartphones, computers, television, and smartwatches, etc.). Help people limit their screen time. The pandemic is pushing us more and more to use technology (especially children).
Teach people how to keep the love energy running – instead of fear-based energy. Give them the tools (meditation, Reiki, prayer, mantras, symbols, connect with angels/teachers, scripture, visualizations, love-mantras, etc.). Love energy is power and protection (armour = protection + amour = Love).
Teach people how to access their holographic brain. We need to understand the concept of living multidimensionally. We have access to the past, present, and future. We can heal past events.
Remember, energy is connecting to information. What kind of information is beneficial to us? And what kind of information is damaging?
Help people move the focus of their spiritual practice from yoga to pranayama (start with alternate nostril breathing). The breathing practices balance the human brain. Everyone should still do yoga and meditation every day.
Teach people how to use intention and how to open their third eye.
Help people realize there is strength in their religious and spiritual beliefs. Everyone needs to stay connected with their church or spiritual center.
