Chi, Focus, and Intention

Last week I watched the Disney movie, Mulan (2020). I thought the movie was very good. Mulan followed her heart, regardless of the consequences. She was focused and brave. When someone is focused, the energy is like a laser. Mulan risked her life to do what was right. I found it interesting, in the story, how Mulan worked with her “Chi.” The word Chi means “vital energy.”

I like to think about how I can bring Chi and focus into my current life situation. There’s a lot to consider regarding the pandemic and the world situation. How can I be brave and focused? How can I get to know my energetic self? I can get to know my energetic self, for example, by practicing Qigong, Tai Chi, and Reiki.

Also, Mulan was very humble. She knew that she had the gift of Chi inside her, but she did not let it get to her head. Instead, she was guided by her heart and intuition.

Mulan had strong intentions to do what was right. It is good to have very specific intentions. These specific intentions create strong vibrations and energetic coherence. According to the dictionary, “coherence” is the quality of forming a unified whole. So, when we have strong intentions, we tap into the unified field of consciousness.

I have a little story to tell you about energetic coherence. My favorite flower is the red rose. I love the red rose because of its delicate fragrance and beauty. A couple of weeks ago, for the first time, I decided to buy an artificial red rose. I put it in an antique vase by my kitchen window. I was happy to see the rose every morning, and I knew that my cat would not chew on it.

Well, a week later, I received a fresh, spring bouquet. In the middle of the arrangement, was two white roses. I put one white rose in the vase instead of the artificial one. Now I have a fresh, beautiful rose to smell every day (see the photo above).

It may seem like a simple story, but my energetic coherence to have a real rose was strong – I needed to have a real rose (and the Universe delivered). I received two white roses. The white rose symbolizes unity, purity, respect, and love.

I am so thankful for the simple pleasures in life, and I am happy to report that my cat leaves the rose (and spring bouquet) alone.

So, think about your life. How can you use specific intentions to increase energetic coherence? Can you do what is right in your life – and be brave enough to follow your intuition? How can you increase your Chi?

My Chi (March 2021)

I have something called Chi.
It brews inside me like tea.
My Chi is ancient and bold.
It is hot and cold.

The power pulses inside.
It synchronizes with the ocean tide.
My Chi calls out to me -
Feel the energy and expand to the universal sea.
